Looking after your teeth is really easy. As well as reducing sugar in your food and drink, these three actions will ensure that you have a bright, healthy smile!
Regular brushing
Basic brushing of teeth twice daily is a very important habit to start young and to continue throughout life. Using a toothpaste with fluoride will also serve to stimulate your gums helping prevent cavities and gum disease.
Regular flossing
Learning how to floss your teeth correctly and doing that regularly helps reduce the possibility of cavities forming in between your teeth. Flossing properly will remove plaque and particles of food where it is impossible to reach with a toothbrush.
Using fluoride toothpaste
Fluoride has long been used to help prevent cavities in teeth. it is a mineral that is found naturally in rocks and soil and over several decades fluoride in small amounts has routinely been added to various dental products like toothpastes, with the aim of strengthening the teeth. Using a fluoride toothpaste will help to keep your teeth free of cavities.
We know the importance of teeth, and now we hope you do too!
