I teach yoga to young children once a week.
As a fully trained yoga teacher, I specialise in teaching children from 3-7 years old. I incorporate music, drama & fun into my sessions to introduce children to the world of yoga. Regular sessions have improved children’s fitness and flexibility which leads to healthier and calmer children.
My sessions is not about espionage, deception, and surprise attacks - rather a fun way to learn a new skill.
I teach children Spanish once a week.
I’m a native Spanish working in the UK teaching young children.
My aim is to introduce Spanish through songs and rhymes. Typically, I will follow a theme that the nursery is doing at the time. This helps children understand Spanish whilst developing their English literacy skills.
So, no writing, grammar or reading – just a fun way to introduce Spanish through role-playing and songs and language games.
As the nursery Forest School Leader, my role is to ensure that the children have an alternative outdoor learning environment in the local woods.
The impact has proven so successful that this activity is now embedded in the nursery. Children have access to the natural world and learn to respect their local environment
Once a week, Emmy brings phonics learning to life through fun-packed drama workshops.
Phonics is taught through unique kinesthetic, auditory and visual techniques that only Emmy can do! This is a supplementary activity used in conjunction with our other systematic phonics teaching we do.
The sessions have been carefully designed to introduce children to Phase 1 and Phase 2 phonics using drama, singing and interactive fun.
I carryout specialist Craniosacral Therapy (CST) when called upon.
CST can help young children overcome or better the symptoms of issues like hormonal imbalances; physical pain; headaches; anxiety; low mood; depression; panic attacks & low confidence just to name a few.
As emotions, thoughts & behaviours are connected to the brain and nervous system, the benefits of CST spread beyond the physical supporting emotional, mental & spiritual change.
