Smoke-free legislation in England 2007
It is our policy to ensure that children are in a smoke-free environment whilst in our care.
Procedure (how we put the policy into practice)
In order to do this, we will ensure that:
No-one smokes in the setting when the children in our care are present or about to be present
No-one smokes in an outside play area when the children in our care are present or about to be present
If, in exceptional circumstances, the children in our care are expected to use any space that has been used for smoking then we will ensure that there is adequate ventilation to clear the atmosphere.
